The exam is manual and consists of a 15-minute intermediate station with two or one examiners and three 3-5 minute sessions for the upper limb and lower limb. Practicing with colleagues beforehand is recommended to present knowledge and comfort. The history component tests professionalism, communication with the patient/examiner, and ability to summarize important points and justify questions. The examination component may involve clinical photographs, movement demonstrations, and special tests, and requires being exact and knowledgeable about principles, steps, and significance.
