In this video, we take a closer look at a curious vintage find: an '80s Rossin road bike equipped with a Shimano AX 600 groupset. The bike, purchased from the original owner, appears to be in near-original condition—but there's a twist. Was this groupset factory-installed, or did Finnish importer Tunturi assemble it with their own specs? We explore the frame, components, and condition, and raise an open question to the community: Should I A) restore it as a daily rider, B) perform a full period-correct restoration, or C) build a new custom frame using these components? Frame size, tubing, wheelset, and small details are discussed as we dismantle the bike. We also inspect classic parts like the Cinelli handlebar, USSR-made tubular spare tire, and vintage Mavic GP4 rims. What would you do? Let us know in the comments if you recognize this Rossin model—or if it’s a Tunturi-custom build. Shot using RIDE Computer — a clean, distraction-free cycling dashboard for Apple devices.
