Who is Prof. PLO Lumumba?

Prof. #PLO Lumumba, whose full name is Patrick Loch Otieno Lumumba, was born on July 17, 1962, in Usenge, a small village on Lake Victoria in Kenya. He was named after an African hero of the time, Patrice Emery Lumumba, and he was already destined for great deeds and aspirations for Africa from infancy. #Lumumba has been the Director of The Kenya School of Laws since 2014. He is an Advocate of the High Courts of Kenya and Tanzania, a Law Lecturer at the Faculty of Law, University of Nairobi, and an Advocate of the High Courts of Kenya and Tanzania. He earned his LL.b and LL.M degrees in law from the University of Nairobi, and then went on to get his Ph.D. in the Laws of the Sea from the University of Ghent in Belgium. He was the Secretary of Kenya's Constitution Review Commission and the former Director of the defunct Kenya Anti-Corruption Commission (KACC), which is now known as the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC).
