Here is a wee experiment using mainly the octatrack. I sampled my favourite sounds from the Yamaha DX7 in the C major scale and chopped them up into slices. I used a LFO with a random waveform to select different slices each time the sound was triggered. I also had all of the tracks set to play at different lengths for some complicated polyrhythms. I've seen a lot of people use this technique on drums but I thought it sounded great on melodies too. The analog four comes in about half way through with a simple pad played at 30bpm over 64 beats so that it would take ages to repeat when using just one pattern. The analog four is running into the octatrack which in turn is running into a TC electronice Hall of fame reverb for extra ambient spacey lushness goodness. Let me know if you would like to know anything more in the comments! I really hope everyone enjoys it. If so give it a thumbs up! I understand it might not be everyone's cup of tea... Subcribe for more in the future. Cheers.
