Türkiye-Germany Green Film Experience Sharing Project Workshop and Panel Program DAY 1 / 05.11.2024 10:00-12:00 Opening Speeches Introduction & Overview • Opening Scene: Introduction & Agenda • System Mapping: Interactive Check-In • Green Basics: Why should we produce more sustainably? • Leading by Example: Germanys Green Production Journey • Across Borders: Other Countries, Other Customs With the contributions of the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the support of the Goethe-Institut Ankara, the coordination of Başkent University Creative Cultural Industries Research Center (YAKEM) and FFADA Film Design and Directing Department, the Türkiye-Germany Green Film Experience Sharing Project workshop and panel was completed on 5-6 November 2024 at the Başkent University Abdullah Demirtaş Conference Hall. The workshop, which started with the opening speeches of Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Design and Architecture Prof. Dr. Hakan Turgut and YAKEM Director, Head of Film Department Prof. Dr. Nihan Gider Işıkman and Director of Goethe-Institut Ankara Friedrich Dahlhaus continued with the presentations of Board Members of the Federal Green Consultants Association of Germany Donald Houwer and Matteo Sant'Unione on the details of green film production. The first day was completed with group work on Co-founder of the International ECOCUP Green Documentary Film Festival and Green Film Expert Anastasia Laukkanen's green film storytelling. The second day program, which started with an interactive workshop, was completed with the panel where conversations were held on the future perspectives of individuals and institutions, the current situation and potential collaborations.
