Feeling fine with Asconi wine!

Asconi was founded in 1994 and from this day remaied a family business. The winery is based in the little and rustic village of Puhoi, surrounded by the sweet Moldovan hills "embroidered" by the vineyards of the company. This village is located in Ialoveni Region and it is about 30km far from the capital Chisinau. Asconi winery have planted more than 500 hectares (1230 acres) over the course of 10 years. All of the vineyards are located near the Geamana village, in the county of Anenii Noi, at a distance of approximately 10 km from the winery. The foundation of Asconi wines is built on French varietals such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Muscat. But they have also planted other varietals such as Riesling, Malbec, Pinot Noir, Glera (to make sparkling white wine with Charmat method) and the most famous two local varietals: Feteasca Alba and Feteasca Neagra.
