6KG Curry Hainanese Rice Challenge! BEST Hainanese Curry Rice in Singapore?! | Singapore Street Food

In this video, we swing by Loo's Hainanese Curry Rice, one of the most requested Hainanese Curry Rice to do a 6KG curry rice challenge! For those that may or may not know, Hainanese Curry Rice is a uniquely Singaporean dish inspired by British, Hainanese and Peranakan settlers in Singapore. A standard serving would include a fried egg, pork chops, braised pork belly and braised cabbage piled on white rice before being smothered by a thick, fragrant curry. Different restaurants would have their own take on the curry and toppings provided, with the curry usually being thick but varying in taste. I got around 12 portions of rice, a pile of braised cabbage, 1 fried eggs (regret not getting more), braised pork belly, pork chops, curried chicken assam squid and some batang fish.
