Backpacking the Rae Lakes Loop from the East starting at Kearsarge Pass, I went clockwise. First camp was at Junction Meadow. Second camp was at Upper Paradise Valley. Third camp was at Middle Rae Lake. Getting permit was super easy from the east side. There was a great pack of hikers out here, but too many. I hiked most of the time with Froggy and Brew Haw who I met the first day, and we had a great time laughing and hiking through the nature.
