Last year, I had the opportunity to tour the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum in Kansas City with my son — and it’s an experience I won’t forget. We toured Arrowhead Stadium beforehand and had amazing BBQ at Arthur Bryants - just down the street from the Museum. Founded in 1990 and located in the historic 18th & Vine District, the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum preserves the powerful history of the Negro Leagues and the players who shaped the game during segregation. From the iconic “Field of Legends” to rare artifacts and untold stories, this museum is more than baseball — it’s American history. In this video, we take a visual journey through the museum and highlight some of the legends who defined an era: • Buck O’Neil • Satchel Paige • Josh Gibson • Buck Leonard • Rube Foster • Cool Papa Bell • Jackie Robinson We also look at rock legend Geddy Lee and his donated autographed baseball collection, featured in his book 72 Stories, connecting music and baseball in a way you might not expect. The museum is led by president Bob Kendrick, whose passion for preserving these stories continues to bring new generations into the conversation. I created the custom soundtrack using ChatGPT and Suno - I hope you enjoy it! If you love baseball, history, storytelling — or all three — this is a place you need to visit. 📍 Location: Kansas City, Missouri 🎟️ Open year-round ⚾ Walk among legends.
