Mr. Expert Salt Safe is a special type of Sealer which is required especially for coaster area. Mr. Expert Salt Safe is the perfect anti-dot to salt efflorescent i.e. salinity. It is genuine sealant and saves concrete from salinity when applied on walls. Mr. Expert salt Safe gets through structural pores of plastered wall and makes the harmful salts insoluble and inactive. Mr. Expert Salt Safe solidified, bonds permanently and fills the pores partially.Special types of emulsion of Mr. Expert Salt Safe get into the wall which contains salts; it creates a sort of writer-insoluble and inactive Co-polymerized layer which prevents further onslaught of corrosion-erosion by the salts due to common-ion effect. Neutralizes the harmful actions of salt contamination Usages: All types of Plaster (interior and exterior both), Hard Board, False Ceilings, Asbestos Sheets & Concrete. Surface preparation: Surface must be clean, free from dust, grease, oil, heavy soot, chalk, mildew, etc. Chalk joints and fill holes where necessary. All old loose, flaking or peeling paint must be removed. Surface preparation for new walls: New plaster surface, it is advisable to allow new plastered surface to mature for a period of at least 8-12 Weeks drying. Ensure that the surface is free from loose particles and any greasy/oily substance by cleaning the surface with emery rubbing paper or wire brush Do not apply paint at temperature below 50ºF (10ºC). Surface preparation for Old walls/Previously painted walls: In case of repainting job, previous coatings of lime wash, Distemper etc must be thoroughly scraped off. Earlier coatings of emulsion based paint deed not to be removed if in sound condition. However, the gloss of sheen of such coatings must be removed by thorough sanding, cracked or flaked paint must be removed completely. Fungus affected areas need separate adequate treatment. Repair the cracked portion of plasters and areas affected by leaks, drainage etc. well prior to painting. Allow the surface to dry sufficiently. Do not apply paint at temperature below 50ºF (10ºC). Preparation for application: For Brush, Paint: Water= 1:1 (By volume) For Roller, Paint: Water = 1:1 (by volume). Use the thinned material within 12 hours. Do not retain the thinned material beyond recommended time. Apply 1 coat Mr. Expert Salt Safe as prime coat. Do not stretch material beyond recommended coverage.
