3" Bench Vise Restoration - YOST 203

A quick 3 inch bench vise "restoration" aka a cleaning and paint job. The vise was in perfect working condition when I received it however it was extremely dirty and had some minor surface rust under the grime. I started by applying degreaser and scrubbing the hard to reach dirt away with a wire toothbrush. I then cleaned up the rest of the surface rust and old paint with the combination of an angle grinder and dremel with wire wheels. I wiped down all surfaces with acetone and the taped off any place where metal would contact other metal such as the swivel base and the moving jaw. I painted the vise with two coats of Krylon enamel and applied white lithium grease to all metal surfaces. This was my first tool restoration and it is far from perfect. It is also my first vise!
