I ordered a cheap electronics component tester (LCR-T4 Mega328) to replace the one I broke a few years ago (   • Unboxing Review Cheap Capacitor ESR Electr...  ), this time with the acrylic case to protect it. Unfortunately, it came damaged so will be asking for refund/replacement while I try to glue it back together. The tester automatically detects resistors, capacitors, diodes, transistors and other electronic components and gives values, helping you check if they are within specification or faulty (must be out of circuit). Good for trouble-shooting board repairs. There is one item in the video it couldn't figure out (type NP0 10 pF ceramic capacitor with black tip). Turns out the sensitivity of the tester can't go that low... I was able to test 68 pF, and down to 25 pF (a 15pF and 10pF in parallel), but it would not detect 20pF (2x10pF in parallel).
