The video shows the climb to the top of Monte Rosa, Swiss. We startet at Rifugio Mantova and choosed the normal route across the italian ridge including the summit of Zumsteinspitze. After breaking our attempts off in 2016 and 2017 we finally arrived at the summit in 2018 in perfect snow and weather conditions. The way from Rifugio Mantova to the summit is pretty far so you need a quite good acclimatisation and preparation. It took us about 14 hours from starting at Mantova and coming back to Mantova. Attention! We are no proffessionals or guides. The way we safe ourselves in the video feels comfortable for us. In the mountains everyone should have a look to find his own way to feel safe and comfortable. Our video shouldn't be an example for non experienced climbers. Climbing is dangerous and everyone should be able to take responsibility for himself.
