The final WCW PPV of 2000, and the final Starrcade event WCW would ever produce. Starrcade 2000 features Scott Steiner defending his WCW World Championship against Sid Vicious. Sid only returned to WCW a few weeks prior, however CEO Ric Flair gave Sid a title opportunity in hopes of ending Steiner's championship reign a little sooner. Lex Luger gets another opportunity to end Goldberg's Streak (and his career) when he faces Billy Boy in the semi main event. Some interference in this match leaves fans scratching their heads, but all is revealed after the final bell. The opening match turns out to be the best match of the card; 3 Count vs Jung Dragons vs Jamie Noble & Evan Karagias.
