Terminata la mia visita presso le cascate di Bekhal, proseguo il mio percorso ad anello, toccando Rawanduz, pittoresca città sull’orlo di un profondo canyon, il Jundian Resort, località di villeggiatura il cui nome deriva da delle creature mitologiche, la cascata di Gali Ali Beg, celebre in quanto appare su una delle banconote emesse dalla Banca Centrale Irachena, per poi tornare ad Erbil attraverso la cittadina di Shaqlawa, con le sue tracce di un antico rito di fertilità, e il castello di Khanzad, edificato da una potente principessa del passato!
