Roswell, New Mexico was fun! We RV camped at Bottomless Lakes State Park about 20 minutes from Roswell, NM. There are a lot of other private campgrounds and BLM's to choose from, as well. Bottomless Lakes State Park Campground fills up fast, so we recommend reservations or to call before you go to make sure walk up sites are available. This campground has water and electric available, as well a dump station. There are also many dry camping sites along the different lakes. Dry camping is $10. Sites with water and electic hookups are $14. We are quickly becoming experts on Cheap RV Living! WE think Roswell, New Mexico was worth a stop and the only negative part was the smell of cow dung. Yep... The wind only shifted towards the campsite one day out of six, but the drive into Roswell, is pretty stinky.
