How To Make A Minecraft SkyFactory 4 Server & How To Deal With StartServer.bat Immediately Crashing

This is my guide on how to make a SkyFactory4 Server. This is also a guide on how to deal with the "server.bat" file if it's immediately crashing. First thing you want to do is extract the "skyfactory4 server" into a server folder. Then run install.bat, after that's installed you open StartServer.bat. If that does not work make sure you have Java 8. You can install Java 8 officially here: https://www.oracle.com/java/technologies/j... If it does not run after you get java 8, edit the StartServer.bat. Locate the fifth row of actual text, not including the space in between, and type with quotation marks ( " ) -------- "C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_202\bin\java" leave the space between the quotation marks ( " ) and the minus mark ( - )for server. Like this (java" -server) IF YOU ALREADY HAVE JAVA 8 ,THE COMMAND I GAVE ABOVE WILL NOT WORK, YOU NEED TO FOLLOW THE ALTERNATIVE ROUTE IN THE VIDEO. I SHOW THIS STEP IN THE VIDEO IF YOU FOLLOW ALONG FOLLOW THE PROBLEM ROUTE The problem route that immediately crashes when you open the SkyFactory4 Server StartServer.bat file 1. Open the File Explorer 2. Click on "This PC" 3. Click on the "Windows (C:) Drive" 4. Click on "Program Files" folder do not click on the (x86) version 5. Click on the "Java" folder 6. IF YOU ALREADY HAVE JAVA 8 USE YOUR OWN JAVA 8 VERSION 7. Open the "jre 1.8.0_202" folder or whatever Java 8 folder you have 8.Open the "bin" folder 9.Double click the bar on the top that shows your route you took for example (This PC- Windows (C:) - Program Files - Java - jre 1.8.0_202 - bin) 10. Right Click and Copy 11. Go to your StartServer.bat and edit it with "notepad" 12. Locate the fifth line of text (Without Including Empty Space) 13. Right in front of java type a quotation mark ( " ) and press (CTR + V) without putting space between the quotation mark and your copied text. 14.It should look like this ("C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_202\binjava ) 15.Put a ( \ ) between the (binjava) to make it look like this (bin\java) 16.After that it should look like this ("C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_202\bin\java) 17.Finish it off with another quotation mark at the end of "java" it will look like this ("C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_202\bin\java") 18. Make sure you do not mess with anymore line of text there should be a space between the last quotation mark ( " ) and the minus ( - ) before server. 19. It should look like this ("C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_202\bin\java" -server) 20.Hit the "file" at the top left and click "save" 21.Close out of the notepad and double click "StartServer.bat" 22.It will run and close, it will make a new eula file, edit with "notepad" and change "false" to "true" 23.Open again and wait forever, while it's going open "CurseForge" and goto skyfactory4 24.Play it Locally or by your port forwarded ip. to play locally you type "localhost" 25.
