Where does Cacao come from?

Before chocolate becomes chocolate it is harvested from a beautiful pod. Cacao pods contain seeds that when picked and prepared a special way ( before it is stripped and high heated to make Hersheys chocolate) contains medicinal properties for your physical health and spirit and called ceremonial grade cacao. What is Ceremonial Grade Cacao? Ceremonial grade cacao is a plant medicine shared by the Aztec and Mayans of Central and South America. The pure beans come from the plant Theobroma Cacao which literally translates to “Food of the Gods”. Cacao in this form allows us to bring to light our deep unconscious patterns, beliefs and addictions.
