Looking for a mouth-watering breakfast spot in The Villages? Then Another Broken Egg Café is a must try! Located on 3713 Meggison Road inside Brownwood Paddock Square, this southern-inspired café has breakfast, brunch, and lunch options. There’s outdoor seating available. However, we opted to sit inside. Warm lighting greets you once you step in the dining area. There are tables, booths, and bar seating options. On their menu they boast seasonal selections, brunch cocktails, traditional menu and even a catering menu. You’ll be delighted to know that their coffee is aromatic and invigorating. We ordered biscuit beignets with powdered sugar and honey marmalade. This is the half order so the full order comes with 8 pieces. They were delicious. For my main dish, I ordered the Lobster Hash Benedict from the Fall seasonal menu. It’s cheddar and ham-filled potato hash, poached eggs, sauteed lobster, truffle seasoned mushrooms, red pepper hollandaise, topped with fried onions with a side of creamy grits. It was mouth-watering. Dad tried one of their signature omelettes with grits and toasted English muffins. And mom tried the Fresh Fruit & Honey Waffle which is Belgian waffled topped with blueberries, strawberries and powdered sugar served with a side of cherry honey-butter sauce. We enjoyed our food and had a great time. Keep in mind that their items are a little on the pricier side. Get there early to avoid the wait time and breakfast crowd.
