One the 2nd of September 2017 me and a mate went on a North London excursion for the day. But as a result of station strikes and travel disruption compromising our plans we opted for a North London ride rather than our final station of Wembley Central and ended up in Highbury and Islington where we planned to catch a train to Finsbury Park where would catch our second to last train of the day home. When we arrived at Highbury and Islington we thought we might as well make things interesting. Rather than take a Victoria Line 2009 stock to Finsbury Park we waited for a Great Northern class 313 operated service seeing as neither of us had ever travelled on one. Besides the class 313’s aren’t going to be around for much longer so I decided to film our short ride on a class 313 from Highbury and Islington to Finsbury Park. Seeing as it was our first and quite likely only journey on a 313 we had a little discussion about the 313 throughout our journey so I selected the Highbury and Islington to Drayton Park section for my class 313 traction motor recording seeing as the least talking occurred on this part of our journey.
