Procrastination can be a biatch at times. But after finishing the remainder of my shutdown era rides, it only made sense to catch up on the flights and luckily, I saved pictures of the flight replay on my phone and it allowed me to provide all the details of flights around me. JetBlue is a nice airline that has been around just as long as me and on this journey, we take the other Base-to-Base route, JFK-LAX on JetBlue. Now this flight was taken prior to the Port Authority of NY and NJ renumbering all gates at JFK. As of March, they started the process of renumbering all gates, where the gate numbers will now start with the terminal number the gate is located in. For example, Gate 1 in Terminal 1 would become Gate 101, and our gate would become Gate 512, since our gate was located in Terminal 5. However, I think it would’ve been easier to use ORD’s system where the gate number started with a letter representing a Concourse. For example, one concourse in T1 would be A Gates, another would be B Gates, one concourse in T4 would be C Gates and the concourses throughout the airport would be consecutive with letter assignments. I think this would’ve been an easier numbering system for the agency and the passengers. But this system still works though because it accomplishes the main goal which was to reduce confusion. But going back to LA, it was the final semester of programming at Exceptional Minds and let’s just say, the program is phenomenal and the friends I made here were really cool. I would love to take another class with them in the future, even if it were online. And Six Flags Magic Mountain was a lot of fun and so was the waterpark of CA with big waterslides and drop slides. It was all a ton of fun, and in the return on JetBlue to JFK, it will be the longest upload in this channel’s history to date when it releases because we will fly over a lot of cities, parks and more, so stay tuned. But for now, I hope you guys enjoy this journey towards the West Coast.
