Supported thoroughly by its keen attention to detail, its regal moniker is an affectionate reference to an old fairy tale, defining the label as an alluring set piece that goes beyond what is tangible. In their most recent AW18 arrival, the atelier has presented what is a blend of influences that uses the unique lens of Italian and Japanese craftsmanship to elevate it that much further. Its strong single cloth fabrication serves as the core of each piece, presenting us with a luxe range of down jackets, parkas, military jackets, hoodies, and much more that maintain intrigue beyond their overall visual design. Dubbed by Harvey as “The Fabric,” each piece’s make-up is an innovative piece of tech that will surely make due on TEN C’s promise: for the garments to protect, live, and mold to you while becoming a piece of your individual story. Inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's fairytale and parable, The Emperor's New Clothes, TEN C looks to create products with value beyond what is on the surface. Keeping with this ethos, the collection is created from a single cloth – 'OJJ' –named 'The Fabric'. Made in Japan, the nylon/polyester microfibre jersey is cut, sewn and garment-dyed in Italy, and designed to become a part of your personal narrative.
