Today we will be transitioning a moth orchid (Phalaenopsis Blume) to water culture. By using semi-hydroponics instead of soil we are able to completely avoid all the root rot and watering issues that people face with orchids and create a happier, healthier plant. You can water any time you want and never worry about over or under watering! In about a month we will do a follow up video covering the first major root maintenance, cleaning out the dead root material and making sure your plant is thriving.
