Often we think of a feature flag as something that controls parts of a visual website. Toggle it on - the website changes and a new thing appears, toggle it off and it goes away. We call this a frontend feature flag - and it gets a lot of attention because it’s oftentimes the more visual of the flag. Backend feature flags are just as important.
