After pulling the engine apart last year, I shoved it out of the way and I've been ignoring it since then. Well, now it's time to dig it back out and see if it can be saved! Before I got on to that, though, I finished off a couple of bits I'd left from the last episode - namely, the brake pipes and the clutch master cylinder. With those bits out of the way, I took the cylinder head apart, cleaned it a little and gave it a good inspection. Then I (finally!) got the last seized stud out of the head. With that done, I turned my attention to the block - there wasn't a lot to do here other than clean it up and inspect it. Both block and head will be going to a machine shop to (hopefully) be cleaned and refaced, and then if all goes well I'll be starting to reassemble it soon. *Products Used* (Note: some of these are affiliate links through the Amazon Affiliates program, and I will get a small commission if you buy through these links.
