Here's Hachijo island in the South of Tokyo. We'll bring you good music and good Hachijo vibes! Enjoy it :) This time, we play on the fishing boat!! Filmed at Yaene port on Hachijojima Island The boat featured in this video is named Kenko-Maru (賢光丸). Its name is a beautiful tribute to the parents of Captain Iwakazu: one character each from Katsuko (賢子) and Hiromitsu (博光). In 2023, the Kenko-Maru was tragically overturned by a tsunami. Captain Iwakazu initially launched a crowdfunding campaign to raise funds for repairs. However, on the very same day, the Noto Peninsula earthquake struck. Out of deep respect, he chose to cancel the campaign.
