This tune from 1899 is where the Skedaddlers got their name. This rag was composed by George M. Rosenberg under the pseudonym George Rosey. String bands such as this were perhaps a more common way that ragtime was heard back when it was new, though it is more known as a piano form today. Dennis Pash leads the group, taking the melody on banjo-mandolin. Alongside him are Nick Robinson on second mandolin and Dave Krinkel on guitar.
