The Back to the Future 40th Anniversary was absolutely insane! Thousands of fans from around the world gathered at the real Twin Pines Mall (Puente Hills Mall) — the exact spot where Doc Brown first sent the DeLorean through time! Dozens of screen-accurate DeLoreans, Doc’s truck, movie cars, and the recreated photo booth filled the lot for the biggest Back to the Future celebration ever. The Running of the Martys, cast and crew signings, and pure 1985 mayhem made this a night to remember. Before the main event, we went back to Hill Valley to explore Whittier High School — the real Hill Valley High — along with other Back to the Future filming locations across Southern California. See these iconic movie sites then and now, from Courthouse Square to the neighborhoods of 1955 and 1985. Ride along with the BC DeLorean Time Machine, Adam the Woo, and Robby Retro as Randomland dives straight into cinematic history to celebrate 40 years of Marty McFly, Doc Brown, and the time-traveling adventure that changed pop culture forever.
