For the past two years Drenched has remained closed, however recent pictures show three cranes towering above the ride removing sections of the water ride. The drop and top section already looks to have been removed with only the lift hill remaining. Could this potentially be the removal of Drenched, or a major refurbishment happening to the ride. Drenched opened as Hydro at Oakwood in 2002 before being rebranded to Drenched after a accident on the ride. Oakwood is wales biggest theme park, home to two major thrill coasters, Megafobia and Speed.
