NX Feature Templates: New "Replace Feature Template" Command [NX2412]

Historically, we have had a “Replace User-Defined Feature” command available as an MB3 option in the Part Navigator. As we moved toward Feature Templates a couple of years ago, we initially thought that we could just use the standard “Replace Feature” command with Feature Templates, and not create a dedicated new command. As it turns out, you’ve told us about some specific cases where a dedicated “Replace Feature Template” command actually makes a lot of sense, so we’ve brought it back in NX 2412. This video walks through the rationale for such a tool, and shows an example of how to maintain not just the original placement selections, but also associativity for any downstream features that may be build using geometry from the Feature Template.
