How to teach your dog to go around a cone, a pole, a tree, a lamp post, agility jump wing, hoppers barrel or any other object. This is a fun skill you can add to your walks, dog workouts, agility training sessions or garden play sessions. It's a foundation skill in many dog sports. This tutorial is the second part or a two-part video. In Part 1, the dog learnt to move around the cone and we faded the food lure but kept a body movement (visual signal for the dog to wrap). In this video we follow on from that, adding a voice cue, distance frim the cone and discussing further progression. It's best to teach and practise this in both directions (clockwise and anti-clockwise). This video shows only one direction, but you can use the same method to teach the other. This video is dedicated to my friend and an incredibly talented and inspirational animal professional Caroline Howlett from Petnanny (Est. 1998 in UK). Enjoy:)
