Here's a really good march two-step from the then rising star Scott Joplin, still enjoying the success of his mega-hit Maple Leaf Rag published in 1899. By 1902 he had moved from Sedalia to the big city St. Louis which was getting ready for the St. Louis World's Fair which finally occurred in 1904. Published by S. Simon in St. Louis in 1902. Original score source was from the Charles Templeton Sheet Music Collection at Mississippi State University at this link (note it has a couple of duplicated pages): https://scholarsjunction.msstate.edu/... This is a reproduction of the original score. Only editing done was to leave off the asterisk stop-pedal notations so that entire measures aren't pedaled in playback, otherwise no changes were made. #ragtimepiano #ragtime #march
