We finally got through all of the initial breaking of the window and rush of water (See Yesterday's video below) and decided to go out into the neighborhood to access the damages and see if anyone who might have also got flooded was in need of help. There was still a lot of water pouring into the basement until the rain stopped. We went into our backyard where we found more flooding. Once we were back to the house, we spent hours pumping all of the floodwaters out of the basement and salvaging anything we could that got wet like family pictures and books.
