Amidst the pre-poll violence, a clash today broke out between the TMC and the BJP workers at the Sahebganj BDO Office in West Bengal during the scrutiny of nomination papers. Union Minister Nitish Pramanik was reportedly attacked during the incident. Union Minister Nitish Pramanik has said on the incident that, “there is currently no law and order here and the situation is just deteriorating.” BJP’s Suvendu Adhikari has made a tweet tagging the Home Minister of West Bengal saying “I have received credible information that the department is hiring 9000 to deploy trainee recruits urgently into the Force after their training is over in 7 days.” We have been joined by panelists BJP Spokesperson, Shatopura, TMC Spokesperson, Tauseef Rahman, and Congress’ Kamruzzaman Chowdhury to discuss the issue. TMC Spokesperson, Tauseef Rahman has said “Yesterday was the last day to file the nominations and over 1.5 lakh nominations were filed by the nomination, yet they are claiming that they were not able to file the nominations.
