Budimex SA is optimistic about the future – the company emphasizes that the results of the entire year 2024 and stable forecasts for 2025 confirm its dynamic development and strong position on the market. For years, we have been successively involved in new business segments, which translates into a stable order portfolio, based on both contracts executed in Poland and abroad. At the end of last year, it reached a record value of nearly PLN 17.8 billion (vs. PLN 13.1 billion at the end of 2023), which secures the work front for most of 2025 and provides us with the foundations of our business for the next 3-4 years. For the full year 2024, the operating profit margin increased, reaching an estimated level of 8.2% (8.0% in the previous year), which translated into an initial operating profit of PLN 744 million. In the annual summary, the company, when analyzing the corresponding periods, notes that there was an accumulation of events in the Q4 2023 results, which had a positive impact on the result and thus increased the comparative base for the previous year. The results for the entire 2024 are in line with the company’s expectations, and the budget assumptions for 2025 remain unchanged. In the fourth quarter of 2024, Budimex signed new contracts worth PLN 4.3 billion, and in the whole of 2024, despite the difficult market situation, it contracted investments worth PLN 12.6 billion. The largest public contracting authorities announced planned tenders worth PLN 23 billion at the end of 2024, which is another prospect for the development of its business for the company. At the same time, the expenditure plans for the entire 2025 in the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA) and PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe (PKP PLK) are, according to declarations, worth up to PLN 33.5 billion. Budimex takes an active part in the largest and most strategic investments in our region: CPK, the Nuclear Power Plant in Choczewo, Rail Baltica in Latvia and Estonia. In 2024, our efforts to strengthen the company’s potential and develop our business have been recognized by many prestigious entities and institutions.We were awarded, m.in, the Bulls and Bears award of the Parkiet stock exchange newspaper, the Forbes Diamond, as well as the title of the Construction Brand of the Year and the Company of the Year 2024 during the XXXIII Economic Forum in Karpacz.Budimex’s return to the WIG-20 index is proof that the strategy we have adopted has been positively received by the market.
