I Built My Dream Jazzmaster Guitar.......From an Old Table

After 5 years of guitar building, I finally built one of my dream instruments — This custom Jazzmaster build from an old mahogany table and beautiful flame maple top. This project brought together everything I’ve learned: woodworking, design, finishing, and guitar setup. The mahogany had so much history, and turning it into a guitar I’ve always wanted to own was an unforgettable experience. In this video, I’ll take you through the full journey, with a sound demo at the very end for you to hear what it sounds like. One of my ideas for the build was to use up materials I already had, apart from the tuners and Tusq nut, I had everything lying around in the workshop from previous builds or from over buying parts. When I first go offered the table (for free) I knew I was on to a gem, I turned one third of it into my new studio desk top, what you see in the video into the Jazzmaster, and still have enough left over for several necks and or bodies. 🎸 Thanks for watching!
