This is a video I made about why I think the "objective vs subjective morality" dichotomy is illusory and can feed into assumptions of apologists. I know this video seems very inappropriate for the time it's being released. It probably doesn't speak to where a lot of you are at mentally and emotionally right now, and it certainly doesn't do the same for me. I'm releasing it on schedule because it's already made, and I'm not in a place to make level-headed decisions about changing course right at the moment. You will hear from me more in the near future about where we're at with current events. I will be having a much more relevant discussion with Dan on my livestream Zodanza, where we will just regroup and have a conversation on where things stand right now. Thank you all, and (uselessly trite as it sounds) hang in there. A few quick things about it: 1) I'm not criticizing Alex or Stephen in any way, and I know their conversation has progressed since this point (as I explain in the video). 2) I'm not trying to say anything decisive about morality and especially about philosophy in this video. I know my discussion of terms may clash with formal philosophical use, but I'm talking about the nuance that can be lost when these terms extend into public usage.
