Students attending Wheaton Community High School in the 1960s witnessed dramatic events taking place around them -- including the Vietnam War, the Civil Rights Movement, and the space race. In a new edition of the "Wheaton Remembers" video series, Wheaton Community High School alumni recall this significant period in American history and what it was like to be a high school student in 1960s Wheaton. Former principal Chuck Baker sits down with Ross Truemper, John Stacey and Don Longacre to reflect on everything from Civil Rights in Wheaton to Friday night football games, overcrowding in the school, and the opening of a second high school. They also share their recollections of classmates who became famous, including Bob Woodward, John Belushi and Jim Belushi.
