I’m back! This time with more crystal art. I know some of you are mostly here for geode art, thank you for baring with a new collection so far this year. I’m hoping to attempt new ideas in between my usual geode inspired artwork. Thank you so much for sticking around! I did mix these pigments together quite a bit to create this. I added the Dazzling Diamond pigment to Opulent Tanzanite and to Silver Druzy. I also added a tiny spec of charcoal black to the Opulent Tanzanite. It turned out so beautiful, I definitely kicked myself afterwards for not adding way more of that pigment to this piece. I used the Mixtion Relief to add silver leaf. That glue needs at least 1 hour of drying time before leaf is added. Typically you would want your lines to be clear or mostly clear before adding! I could have waited another 15 minutes or so before I added mine. (Watching my work back gives me so much insight to small mistakes I make). I got mixtion relief at Michaels Art Store. I got my silver leaf from Amazon. Base is a wooden panel 24x16 inches.
