When I see others who villainize and hurt other people without a second thought, even in just simple arguments, I always wonder why they couldn't see the perspective of the other person. Sure, it may be a mechanism to protect themselves, to fully blame the other person, but as someone who's watching from the outside I just feel like its not fair. Then when I do see people that are kind, people just, treat them like fools. I realized empathy and kindness is not an inherent ability has, or maybe it is but they've forgotten how. Like a muscle that hasn't been trained, it weakens. But even so, I think ideals and virtues are what makes a person. If you can hold on to those, you won't ever lose yourself.
