A Day of Trucking in Louisiana | Trucking with the Hook Vlog #61

In today’s vlog we start our day at the Love’s in Alexandria, Louisiana getting ready to roll. From there we head south and run into a little bit of traffic congestion around Baton Rouge before continuing our trip. Our first stop is the Walmart Distribution Center in Robert, Louisiana where we drop our trailer. After unhooking, things get a little interesting because we can’t find an empty trailer anywhere in the yard. Just when it looks like we might be stuck, a yard spotter comes through at the last second and gives us an empty, allowing us to keep the day moving. With an empty trailer in hand we head over to Zachary, Louisiana to Georgia Pacific, hoping and praying they’ll take our empty trailer so we can get loaded. Thankfully everything works out and we’re able to pick up our next load. We finish out the day and shut it down at the LA Express Truckstop in Livonia, Louisiana off US-190, wrapping up another day on the road here in Louisiana.
