We're hoping that by sharing our love of games, we can also reach out and support the amazing work done by 1625 Independent People and End Youth Homelessness. Here's more about the work they do: 1625 Independent People work with young people who are homeless, leaving care or at risk of homelessness aged 16 – 25 in the South West. We work to prevent youth homelessness, supporting those who are homeless and enable every young person to become a thriving independent adult. Where it is not possible to keep a young person at home, 1625ip provides safe and stable supported housing for young people. We run hostels, houses and flats that are affordable and accessible, each young person allocated with a trusted key worker to support the young person to progress towards a successful, independent life. We offer a number of specialist projects and services to support young people to gain the skills to overcome their trauma, and build the confidence they need to achieve their goals. Our specialist services includes education, employment and training (EET), mental health and wellbeing, domestic and sexual violence, and support for young people who offend. We are reliant on fundraising to provide care and support to young people, to enhance the basic services that are funded by the Local Authority.
