''The Farmyard Party'' MAG bike rally, Helmsley, North Yorkshire 2002.

.....if you've never been to a bike rally before - go to this one! It's organised by the ''Motorcycle Action Group'', better known as 'MAG'...CHECK OUT THEIR WEBSITE FOR DETAILS !! Great bands, great location - some visitors ride out to Scarborough or Whitby on the Saturday afternoon...others just stay on the campsite and get bladdered! By the way, those 'little knights' on the bike, used to be where I had some little lights....but the bloody things kept blowing as they had push-in bulbs...not ideal on a bike with vibration etc. I traded the Superfour in a few years later, for the custom version with the same engine called an 'X4'...then traded that back in for another Superfour, in a nice Black & Red colour.....sadly, I'd not kept the little Dennis the Menace figure ! The bagpipe player....and even those Morris dancers, (!) should have had a 20 minute spot onstage at the rally in my opinion ! As regular visitors will know, sadly the rally isn't held in this valley any more due to severe and sudden floods of 2005...which potentially could have drowned thousands of campers if it had pissed down in the early hours of Sunday...rather than the afternoon.
