RECIPE: Ingredients: Caramel: 2 Tablespoons granulated sugar 1 Tablespoon tap water Custard.. 4 Egg Yolks 1 Cup[ 140 (F) degree milk 2 Tablespoons granulated sugar 1 Teaspoon vanilla extract Instructions (Caramel): Mix sugar and water well. In a small saucepan, boil over medium heat WITHOUT STIRING until the sugar becomes amber in color. Spoon a small amount into each of the little egg cups and allow to cool. Instructions (Custard) Mix all ingredients, except for the hot milk, in a mixing bowl. Slowly stir in the hot milk so as not to cook the eggs with it. Once mixed, beat until thoroughly mixed and frothy. Preheat the Dash and add a small egg cup of water. Place the 4 egg cups with the melted sugar into the cooker and fill each 3/4 full with some egg mixture. Close the top and cook for roughly 12 minutes until the custard is semi-firm.
