This time, that distraction came in the form of a commission: wedding rings made from guitar strings. Of course, the first thing I asked was: “Can I make the strings out of gold and silver?” The answer? Hell yes. In this video, I take you along as I: Twist gold and silver wire into custom "strings" Experiment with a mokume-gane (woodgrain metal) style pattern Anneal, pickle, solder, burnish, and polish the rings to life Try not to melt everything in the process (🔥 because you know I love fire) The result? A unique pair of handmade gold and silver wedding rings with texture, contrast, and a story woven right into the metal.
