A fun little fact for my Owlians: whenever you see me flaunting my Urdu slang, you should know that birthday girl here, taught me everything I know! Oh, her and Obi's vlogs. giggles Chalein, onto the VM's background story. Actually, first a little bit of background BEFORE the VM's background. Aqsa and I actually met each other on YouTube. I commented on one of her VMs, asking her what song she had used; and the rest, as they say, is history! Back then, we were two of the very few vidders who'd vid on Pakistani couples. Then Diyar-e-Dil happened and it started RAINING Pakistani vidders. Hehe. Then one day, I realised that, somewhere along the way, Aqsa had stopped vidding. As of a day before my birthday, back in September, the girl hadn't vid for 11 months! ELEVEN MONTHS. Of course, maine ussay sukoon se nahin bethne diya. I would constantly pester her to get back to vidding. Little did I know she'd end up breaking this roza ON MY BIRTHDAY! giggles The girl KEPT the fact that she was watching my favourite drama, Yeh Raha Dil, from me for weeks; because she wanted for it to be a surprise! Hum saath fangirl bhi na kar sakay! sigh As you all know, although I've vidded on Hayat and Zaki numerous times, I'd yet to make a cute, happy-ish sa VM. Saare jo hain, they were either about the two pining for each other, or some Shakespeare-level, jazbaati spiel. When Aqsa's birthday was approaching, I thought to myself, 'mouqa bhi hai, tareekh bhi hai, tehwaar bhi! [Lol, #insidejoke] Toh bana diya maine! Although I was late to jump on the 'Hawayein' train, I think I might be their clingiest passenger. It's been over two months.. and my love for this song never diminishes; it only grows. The pyaari melody, which makes you feel as if you're floating on an imaginary cloud; the sadqafiably cute words.. I mean, what's NOT to love? When I first heard the song, I immediately thought of Hayat at my favourite, 'banati hai toh tu, woh yaadein,' verse. The sequence played in my head like a montage, and I knew what had to be done. I thought up a story; butchered the song and switched it around to my liking.. and voila! dusts hands and smiles a la Jugnoo I hope you love your little gift, Aqsay. BOHAT pyaar se banaai hai!
