Caltrain: Stadler KISS EMU Train

Recorded on Sunday, August 11, 2024, from Menlo Park to Hillsdale. This ride video was originally going to be from Palo Alto to San Mateo, but due to issues with finding a good filming seat, I recorded from Menlo Park to Hillsdale and Hillsdale to Millbrae. (They will be posted separately because they both were filmed in different seats). After many months of these trains being tested, these trains finally entered service on August 10 as a VIP train, and on August 11 for the public, as a soft launch! There were 2 EMU Train sets running on August 11. This is the start of a new era for Caltrain, since these trains will replace the diesels very soon, which is estimated to be September 21st later this year. But diesel trains will still run south of San Jose Diridon Station. This is my third time ever riding a Caltrain EMU Train!
