Every year after the Christmas holidays, I see dozens of condemned fir trees; some are bought to be kept inside, and even if they have a pot with roots, they will surely die in the warmth of the house; others are bought without roots, just to be decorated; people talk a lot about the environment, but I don’t see any respect for it; I don’t want to cut the roots yet, just flatten them and free the nebari; choose the most suitable pot, what do you think? I want to give this composition the natural feel of fir trees found in the mountains, among the rocks; I’ll just do some cleaning; the art of bonsai requires patience… only a small pruning at the top to limit its vigor and encourage the growth of lower branches; I find it beautiful, much more beautiful than a Christmas tree with ornaments and lights.
