Indications for Sleeve Gastrectomy with proximal jejunal bypass • BMI ≥ 35 with co-morbidities like diabetes, hypertension, sleep apnea, fatty liver, infertility, osteoarthritis knee, Metabolic syndrome or • BMI ≥ 40 without commodities The purpose of sleeve gastrectomy with PJB is to reduce the size of the stomach to the size of a banana. Sleeve PJB is best suitable for volume eaters with type 2 diabetes. Sleeve gastrectomy reduces hunger drastically and small stomach causes calorie restriction and weight loss. Remnant stomach is removed. . In third step, jejunum is divided 30 cms from ligament of Treitz. 250 cm of small intestine is bypassed and end to side jejuojeunostomy is done.
