I’m inviting you to be brave in the studio this month. Let’s step outside of the box and experiment with new art materials, make mistakes and learn from them. Let’s try new colours, dive into exercises that would be very helpful in your art work. Sometimes just letting go will give you insights to new discoveries and push you out of the same old - same old. Being an artist isn’t about perfection, it’s about self-expression - it’s about showing up every day. It's about discovery and sharing it with others. This video is about making marks. Just let loose on paper, use any material. I used wax crayons and worked for 10 minutes. Don't worry about what will happen. Make a mess, and then make more! Let your spirit guide you.
